We are located in the old town portion of Winthrop, Washington. We are a small, family owned establishment with 6 rooms. The inn is perched over Riverside Avenue, with a bird’s eye-view of town activities and a vista of the river and mountains beyond. Amenities such as coffee, restaurants, cocktails, and easy river access are just a stroll away.
Where do I park?
The nearest and best parking option is our parking lot on Castle Avenue. Parking here is private and reserved for guests! The address is:

How do I check in to my room?
Observatory Inn operates with contact-less check in and does not have a lobby. You will receive an email detailing your reservation, including how to find your room and what your room code is.
Where do I get my room key?
There is no need for a key! All rooms are equipped with keypad entry locks - your code will be emailed to you when you make your reservation. If you have any issues, please call: 509-996-2739
Is Observatory Inn ADA accessible?
No, it is not. Currently, all rooms are accessed via one flight of stairs down from the parking area.
How do I verify my rate and reservation?
We'll send you an email to confirm all your reservation details including the confirmation number, dates of stay, room number and door code (no keys to find or lose, yay!), and your confirmed rates.
Can I smoke in my room?
No. All rooms are completely non-smoking. If you light up or vape inside your room, you will be charged a $250 smoking fee to your card.
Do you have a pool or hot tub?
No, we don't.
